the mill at rode is a beautiful yet contemporary riverside bar, dating back to the industrial era. Set astride the River Frome, we are located approximately 10 miles from Bath off the A 36. We have a working water wheel and extensive grounds in the Somerset countryside with ample car parking.
Facilities at the mill include a large first floor room overlooking the river, ideal for larger events and a smaller room situated alongside the millwheel more suitable for smaller seminars or team meetings.
These rooms can be laid out as appropriate in the following styles: Boardroom, Theatre-style or U-shaped. We have a 42” plasma screen or projector for presentations and training videos, and a lectern for the speaker.

Accommodation ...
We do not have accommodation on site, however, we have an arrangement with Travelodgeâ, and accommodation can be arranged a £25 per night / per delegate (based on two delegates sharing).
There are two lodges locally, Beckington (1.5 miles), and Warminster (5 miles). All accommodation arrangements will be made on your behalf, and every effort will be made to co-locate your entire party in one lodge.
Each Travelodge room includes, Digital Satellite Television, Telephone and Internet connection. As well as one king size bed and a twin sofa bed.
Overnight stay in several other Hotels locally can be arranged, though these are limited in their capacity, (most have only fifteen or so rooms) and vary between £45 and £80 per night / per delegate. These may be more suitable for smaller groups or for VIP's and guest speakers.
Should your delegates require an evening meal during multiple day conferences, a three- course meal of selected items from our main menu is available for a supplement of £16.00.
We have a separate banqueting menu, should you want a dinner to mark the end of your event.
